Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Peck Stelzer Systems LLC ("Peck Stelzer," "we," "us") is a Wisconsin limited liability company that builds document-review software for professional use, including our compliance file-review product for real estate brokerages (the "Service"). These Terms govern your use of this website and, except where a signed agreement says otherwise, the Service.
2. Signed agreements control
Access to the Service is provided under a written agreement between Peck Stelzer and the customer organization (an evaluation license, master services agreement, or statement of work). If these Terms conflict with a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for that customer.
3. The Service assists professional review — it is not legal advice
The Service flags the completeness of documents: whether expected forms are present, whether they appear to be current approved versions, and whether expected fields and signatures appear to be filled. Its output is informational. It does not interpret the legal meaning of any document, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney–client relationship. A qualified human reviewer retains sole authority over every compliance decision. The Service is a review aid; it does not guarantee that every deficiency in a document will be detected.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only as authorized by your organization's agreement and only for lawful purposes.
- Keep access credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your credentials.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or provide third-party access to the Service except as your agreement permits.
- Do not use the website or Service to transmit malicious code or to violate the rights of others.
5. Customer content
Customers retain all rights to the documents and data they submit to the Service. Peck Stelzer receives only the limited license needed to process that content for the purpose of providing the Service to that customer, as described in our Privacy Policy and the customer's agreement.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service — including its software, review engine, rule definitions, report formats, and documentation — and this website are owned by Peck Stelzer Systems LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms or a signed agreement.
7. Third-party platforms
References on this site to third-party products or platforms, including real estate transaction-management platforms, are for identification only. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. Peck Stelzer is an independent company, and references to a platform do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by its owner unless expressly stated.
8. Disclaimers
This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Any warranties for the Service are stated exclusively in the customer's signed agreement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peck Stelzer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues, arising from use of this website or the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited as stated in the applicable signed agreement, and for claims relating to this website, to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate website access for violation of these Terms. Termination of Service access is governed by the applicable signed agreement, including its provisions for return or deletion of customer content.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes under these Terms is the state and federal courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision; material changes to Service terms for existing customers are handled under their signed agreements.
