PowerPoint — the deck, without the weekend.

Claude builds real .pptx files — investor updates, training decks, client presentations — and reads the ones people send you.

Setup: Built inDifficulty: EasyBest for: Anyone who presents

What it is

Hand Claude the content — a report, notes, a spreadsheet — and get back a structured deck with titles, layouts, and speaker notes. It also extracts content from decks you receive, so you never sit through 60 slides to find the three that matter.

How to use it

  1. Built into Claude's paid plans — nothing to install.
  2. Ask for "a slide deck" and attach the source material.
  3. Claude returns a downloadable .pptx.

Use cases

uc/01Report becomes deck

"Turn this quarterly report into a 10-slide deck for the leadership meeting — one idea per slide, numbers as charts, speaker notes included."

uc/02The monthly refresh

"Here's last month's client deck and this month's numbers. Update the figures and dates, keep everything else identical."

uc/03Decode the deck you got

"Here's the 45-slide vendor presentation. What are they actually proposing, what does it cost, and what are they not saying?"

uc/04The training deck

"Build a short onboarding deck from our SOP doc — friendly tone, one process per slide, quiz questions at the end."
Good to know: Tell Claude your brand colors and fonts (or attach a past deck) and it will match them. Outline first, slides second, gets the best structure.
